Origin: This breed's origination is highly debatable. It is the most popular belief that they were originally from Central and South America.

Characteristics: Friendly, quiet, loves eating mosquitos, and will be broody for other hen's eggs too. They will mate with any breed of duck, but if they crossbreed, the babies are "mules" and will be sterile.
Color: Black, White, Chocolate, Blue, Lilac, Silver, Buff, Self Blue, Cream, Dark Ripple, Chocolate Ripple, and other various (more rare) pastel colors.
