Knowleventure Farm is a small, but steadily growing, family operated farm located in Blanchard, La. Since the children all attend our school named Knowleventure Academia, the new farm has a new name: Knowleventure Farm! We enjoy raising chickens for eggs, pest control and FUN! We LOVE raising these animals and teaching our children the value of life and the balance of nature. We share what we do here as a family, so that we may encourage other families to farm together too!
In January 2014, we began raising rabbits down in Cut Off, La. We learned so much about all the rabbit breeds and we truly enjoyed them. We quickly progressed into chickens, ducks, pigs, and quail. In 2018, we took some time off and relocated to the northern part of the state. Now we are settled enough to start this farming thing again! This time, we've started with 12 adorable baby chickens (pullets, actually). Our next goal is to put a small quail cage together because we just LOVE pickled quail eggs. All the while, a grape vine is growing greatly and there are potatoes and Moringa tree seeds waiting to sprout.
